If you have never done a yoga class in your life, you are taking a step in the right direction. Yoga (and all that is good for you) should be explored in a cheerful and welcoming fashion. We encourage you to smile and laugh during class. Maintaining your health is serious business, but life should always be fun! We understand being a beginner can be intimidating, but come with an open mind as well as a willing attitude. Experience and flexibility are not necessary… you just need enthusiasm and a little positive energy. If you are unsure please, give us a call! We have developed a range of classes where there is something for everybody. Whatever your yoga ability, daily schedule or fitness level: all our classes deliver the same physical and mental benefits, and will all change you from the inside out. Through the discipline of a regular yoga practice, we can learn to become more disciplined in other areas of our lives. “The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide you are not going to stay where you are!!” Working One to One Working one to one is a totally different experience for both student and teacher than it is in a group class and is of enormous benefit. It gives the student personal attention, which is difficult to receive during a class when there are many others. It allows the teacher to understand the student’s individual structure, struggles, desire, goals and ability. By assessing this, the teacher is able to give their student the tools and direction which will help them grow and progress in a way that is completely appropriate for them. Instead of trying to fit the body into a shape…… We start to see how the shape fits into our body. Teachers Raj Sharma My yoga journey started in 2002. I can clearly remember my first Bikram class like it was yesterday. Little did I know then that it would change and take my life in a totally different direction. Having worked 50/60 hours a week in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. I was amazed at how my practice alleviated stress and helped to keep me grounded and sane. At the same time bringing a lot more clarity and balance into my life. Sanjai Verma Sanjai came to yoga initially from many years of reading philosophy and understanding what life is all about. From the beginning of that journey some 20 years ago he has tried many systems of yoga, meditation, healing. During that time he qualified in reiki, Thai massage, kaladi nadi massage and of course Bikram yoga. Outside the studio Sanjai works with individuals and corporate clients in various endeavours, especially in the fields of self-fulfilment, so it is with great pleasure that he gets a chance to bring the wealth of all his experience and expertise to teach a class. I was diagnosed with chronic sciatica in my left side (L5/S1) but have used the yoga to heal my body, mind and spirit.
